Les RAMes stands for the Annual Mobility Meetings. It is an event held every year in Côte d'Ivoire, during the second half of July. This year, it will take place on July 24, 25, and 26, 2025.
Les RAMes includes field visits, conferences, an exhibition, and a gala dinner celebrating the most active players in the road, transport, and mobility sectors: The Mobility Awards.
The transformation of urban infrastructure, essential to the development of modern cities, often involves large-scale construction projects that disrupt daily mobility. In Abidjan, an economic capital undergoing major changes, the growing number of road, public transport, and urban development projects has made it necessary for years to rethink the movement of people and goods during construction periods.
The 2025 edition of the Annual Mobility Meetings focuses on the strategies implemented to maintain traffic flow, minimize negative impacts on users, and ensure access to affected areas. It also highlights the innovations and technologies—organizational or participatory—that have been or could be used for smarter construction site management.
The 5th edition of Les RAMes aims to draw valuable lessons from Abidjan’s experience, as well as from other major cities in Africa and around the world, where communication systems, temporary mobility solutions (shuttles, dedicated lanes, etc.), and coordination platforms have been successfully integrated.
The goal is to build a resilient city capable of functioning effectively, even during periods of major transformation.
